Neziha Akalın received her MSc degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2014. In 2011-2017, she worked as a teaching and research assistant in Computer Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University. During this period, she also worked as a researcher in several research projects involving human-robot interaction and human-computer interaction. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Centre for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) in Örebro University, Örebro, Sweden. Her research interests include assistive and social robotics, and human–robot interaction.
